What does it remove?
Rounded bolts, nuts, and many damaged screw heads. It also loosens corroded fasteners and oil pan plugs.
Do I need to drill first?
No. The spiral flutes bite and turn the fastener out without drilling.
Will it work on fully rounded heads?
Yes. Tap the socket on, keep steady pressure, and turn slowly.
What drive size does it use?
Standard 1/4″ drive.
Can I use an impact?
Use a hand ratchet for best control. Light impact is okay if needed. Avoid heavy hammering.
How do I choose the right size?
Pick the smallest socket that will tap on. A snug fit gives the best bite.
How do I get the fastener out of the socket afterward?
Hold the socket and tap the stuck fastener out from the back. A vise helps.
Will it work on stainless or hardened bolts?
Often, yes. Use penetrating oil and go slow. Extremely hard or heat-treated fasteners may be tougher.
Does it work on recessed Allen or Torx screws?
Only if the head is exposed enough for the socket to grab. It won’t fit deep, countersunk recesses.
Is it for lug nuts?
Not this set. The sizes top out at 3/8″ / 10 mm. Most lugs are larger.

Any tips for stubborn, rusty bolts?
Soak with penetrating oil. Tap the socket on. Apply slow, even torque. Add heat only if safe.
