   • At the flip of a switch, the PBT Ball Transfers raise items above the work surface, enabling smooth, minimal-effort orientation and positioning.
2. PPD Positioner Pads for Stability:
   • Another switch activates the PPD Positioner Pads, raising items above the Ball Transfers to firmly stabilize them, allowing precise tasks to be performed without movement.
3. Seamless Integration into Conveyor Systems:
   • When both components are retracted, items can continue along the conveyor line unaffected, maintaining workflow efficiency.

Customizable Layouts and Configurations

• Standard Placement:
  • Omtec’s standard configuration positions the first and last PBT Ball Transfer and PPD Positioner Pads 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) from each end of the strip. The remaining components are evenly spaced.
• Customizable Length and Placement:
  • Strips can be manufactured to any length, with the number and placement of Ball Transfers and Positioner Pads tailored to your requirements. The minimum centerline spacing is 2 inches (50.8 mm), offering flexibility for various applications.

Pneumatic Operation for Precision Control

• Air Feed Design:
  • The strips are powered by a single 0.180 I.D. x 0.265 O.D. polyurethane tube, running under the strip between the first and last ball. The standard tube length is 8 inches (203 mm) but can be adjusted as needed.
• Control Options:
  • Operated using simple non-electric foot and hand valves for most applications.
  • Low air volume requirements ensure energy efficiency, with each up-and-down cycle using just .00038 cubic feet (.0000108 cubic meters) of air.
