   • At the flip of a switch, Omtec PBT Ball Transfers raise above the conveyor rollers, enabling smooth and minimal-effort movement of items off the conveyor line.
3. Uninterrupted Conveyor Flow:
   • Flip the switch again, and the ball transfers retract below the rollers. This allows items that do not require transferring to continue along the conveyor line without interference.

Customizable Configurations

• Standard Spacing:
  • The first and last pop-up ball transfers are placed 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) from each end of the strip’s main body. Other transfers are evenly spaced along the strip.
• Custom Lengths and Spacing:
  • Strips can be manufactured to any desired length.
  • The number and placement of pop-up ball transfers can be adjusted to meet specific operational needs. The minimum centerline spacing is 2 inches (50.8 mm).

Pneumatic Operation for Precision and Efficiency

• Air Feed System:
  • Powered by a single 0.180 I.D. x 0.265 O.D. polyurethane tube, running under the strip between the first and last ball.
  • The standard air feed tube is 8 inches (203 mm) long but can be customized in length or placement.
• Control Options:
  • Operated using simple non-electric foot or hand valves in most applications.
  • For advanced automation, sensing devices with electric solenoid valves can be incorporated. Control kits are available for added convenience.
• Low Air Volume Requirements:
  • Each up-and-down cycle uses just 0.00038 cubic feet (0.0000108 cubic meters) of air, making it energy-efficient.

Air Quality Requirements

Like all pneumatically operated components, Ball Transfer Strips require Filtered, Regulated, and Lubricated (FRL) compressed air to ensure optimal performance and durability.
